James Lamprecht wins top honours

James Lamprecht was the big winner at the West Coast Rollers' end-of-season awards on May 3, walking away with the prestigious Player of the Season trophy.


Despite a disappointing campaign during which we lost eight games, 'Prokureur' was in fine form, scoring 267 runs at an average of 29.7 - including 84 in a record 207-run partnership against WPCC - to go with his 10 wickets.


Tom Stapylton-Smith won the Best Bowler award for his 14 wickets at 19.4, while Ryan Cooper took the batting prize after scoring 370 runs at 30.8.


Neville Cooper was named Allrounder of the Year, while Michael van Dewenter walked away with the sought-after Players' Player of the Season trophy.
