They say first impressions last. Well, we are happy to report that that is not always the case, for the first time we played against Peter the general consensus was that he was a right doos. However, a few brandies later and all the excessive appealing was a thing of the past, and a few weeks later he made his Rollers debut. Rarely has anyone quite 'got' the team ethos as quickly, and less than a year later Peter is firmly entrenched in the Rollers brotherhood. A penchant for wides but very handy with the new ball (when he doesn't come off a 30-metre run-up), he has also shown some promise with the bat, smashing a 40-ball 67 in just his seventh innings.
